On your device The first use may download a language pack of about 30MB. After that, translation stays local.

Keep scrolling New text in view is translated as you scroll. Switch language and the page is restored, then re-translated.

Show original Tap again to restore the original page. Refreshing the same document translates it again.

Common questions

What is the Play edition?

This English page is the Google Play build: browsing, network boost, ad blocking, page translation, and an AI assistant. Extra modules on the Chinese website APK are not included.

Do I need a separate VPN?

No. Network boost is built in. Turn it off in Settings if you want pages to use the system network only.

Do I need to configure nodes?

No. It works after install. You can test latency and switch routes later if you want.

Do I need an account?

No required sign-up. Install from Play, agree to the terms on first launch, and start browsing.

Is the AI assistant ChatGPT?

No. It is an in-app AI assistant for questions and page summaries. Ikun Browser is not an OpenAI product.

How many AI credits do I get?

New devices get 20 credits. Short asks cost 1. Longer chats cost more. Page summaries cost 3-5.

How does page translation work?

Open a page, then choose Translate in the menu. The first language pack is about 30MB. After that, translation runs on the device. Long-press to change the target language.

Is ad blocking on by default?

Yes. Common page ads, pop-ups, and some trackers are filtered automatically. You can whitelist a site in Settings.

How do I get updates?

Updates come from Google Play. The Play edition does not sideload APK updates from the website.

Which Android versions?

Android 8.0 and later. That is the same baseline as the Play listing.
